what does , when used in the context of

"Hé bien, c'est pratique. Comme ça je peux passer au supermarché y faire des achats."?

And would someone also be able to translate those two sentences for me too? I can only translate part of the sentences. Thanks/merci beaucoup!

Hé: Something like "Ah"
As in: "Ah well, that's practical. That way I can swing by the supermarket to buy stuff there" (literal translation, maybe a bit clumsy)

Hé bien, yeah it's a bit like Ah well, it can thought like "So" aswell.

But Hé ben (without the i), could be thought as "Geez" (expressing surprised)
"Hé ben (ou Hé bé), il n'est pas très sympathique !" (more coloquial from the South East of France)
